  • Chest / bust: around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level.
  • Waist: around your natural waistline, the narrowest part of your torso.
  • Hips: around the fullest part of your hips, about 8 inches below your waist.
  • Shirt length: from the top of your shoulder down to where you want the hem.
  • Sleeve: from the shoulder seam to your wrist.
  • Trouser length: from the crotch seam to your ankle.

Good to know

Designs vary by designer, and some product descriptions include that design’s own measurements. Where they do, follow the product’s measurements. A difference of up to ±1.5 inches is normal tailoring tolerance and is not a fault.
